Pastor Becky Keenan
Who?
Pastor Becky is the president and founder of One with Israel, a movement of individuals, churches, leaders, and organizations nationwide committed to demonstrating support for Israel. Through educational seminars, leadership training, signature lectures and educational journeys, OWI transcends barriers and reaches people of different ages, backgrounds and political affiliations.
Why?
Pastor Becky was born in Stuttgart, Germany, the daughter of Puerto Rican parents Enrique and Loyda Arroyo. Her father was a career military man, who served in the U.S. Army for 27 years and was engaged in WWII and the Korean conflict. It was during his service in the North African theater, Italy, and Germany that he observed firsthand, the treatment of the Jews at the hands of the Nazi regime.
What?
A former member of AIPAC’s National Council, Rev. Keenan worked in mentoring both up and coming and seasoned leaders on the complexities of Israel. She is an Advisory Council Member with IsraAid, participating in humanitarian missions to communities in Puerto Rico and Guatemala.
Pastor Becky has traveled to Israel as the guest of the State of Israel, Nefesh B’ Nefesh and the Jewish Institute for National Security Affairs (JINSA), founded by Tom Newman. At the invitation of Israel’s Foreign Ministry, she led a delegation of community leaders and was the guest of the AIEF program in 2013. In 2015, Becky graduated from Yad Vashem’s Christian Leadership Seminar in Jerusalem, all the while continuing to head delegations of leaders on OWI Educational Journeys to Israel.
Pastor Becky was appointed as a Commissioner to the Texas Holocaust and Genocide Commission by Governor Greg Abbott from 2016 – 2019. Most recently, Becky served as National Hispanic Outreach Director for Christians United with Israel ending her tenure in 2023.
Pastor Becky, the President of One With Israel, was added to the Israel Allies Foundation’s prestigious “Israel’s Top 50 Christians” list for 2023. Christian leaders who were selected to be a part of this exclusive list convey their love and support for the State of Israel through action. Their support stems from their deeply held faith.
Pastor Becky is a professional technical translator, voice talent and an impressive live audience interpreter. She is the voice of Joyce Meyer in Spanish, and translates and records all JMM television programs in Spanish heard throughout Latin America by millions on a daily basis.
She was awarded an honorary PhD by the Association of Evangelical Gospel Assemblies (AEGA). Pastor Becky, and her husband Rev. Joseph S. Keenan, are the Senior Pastors of Living Hope Church, a non-denominational, multicultural congregation in Houston, Texas. She is the proud mother of two wonderful young adults, Katie and Joey.
